The blockchain powered immutable hash-store for user reviews, ratings and reputation has been expanded so it can be used as an audit trail for sensitive AI decisions as well. The hash-store uses the secure SHA3-512 hashing algorithm and is currently in the last stage of development.
The initial corpus to train the AI’s machine learning models for data input is 50-55% ready and will be part of the public MVP.

Our CEO Wouter van der Schagt will be in a panel discussion this evening (Thursday, 16 August) at Coinbama in Kowloon, Hong Kong.
We’ll also be at Marvels World Blockchain Summit in Hong Kong at the end of August.

Were you at #GoogleNext18 too?

We spent last week in San Francisco for Google Cloud’s Next ’18 conference, and hosted a small meet-up on the evening before on 23 July. Thank you to everyone who came out. It was a great opportunity to share the PlannerScape project with like-minded entrepreneurs in a buzzing tech hub. If you missed us this time, we will release details of our next events on our website.
At Google Cloud’s Next conference, we were inspired by Google’s latest AI and machine learning offerings and the incredible tech community. Much of the focus during the conference was on state-of-the-art machine learning, like AutoML, and how to apply it in real world use-cases, very much in line with PlannerScape’s vision for the future of work.
We’re happy to have met with quite a number of innovative cloud companies, some of whom have developed interesting services that could become useful add-ons for PlannerScape; others will be more useful behind the scenes. We look forward to unveiling more partnerships in progress soon.

Following the passage of the three bills in relation to blockchain-based businesses, cryptocurrencies and initial coin offering (“ICOs”) by the Malta Parliament in mid-July 2018, it is expected that such bills will become law with force and effect on 1 October 2018 upon the Malta government publishing a gazette in this regard.  According to one of the bills, namely Virtual Financial Assets Act (the “Act”) (which will govern the sale of PLAN Tokens), a registered VFA agent needs to be engaged by all ICO issuers for the purpose of their token sale. As indicated by the Malta government recently, the intended VFA agents can start applying for registration with the competent authority within a month of coming into force of the Act. In the meantime, any of such intended VFA agents can carry out relevant functions under the Act provided that it notifies the regulator that it is carrying out such functions and can carry out such functions until the application for registration is determined. The regulator will also be organizing a mandatory course for all entities/individuals interested in holding the position of VFA agent.

At Google Cloud’s Next ’18 conference, we looked into incorporating NLP (Natural Language Processing) to design the way you manage your time and tasks even easier and more intuitive. Some of this functionality will be available in the next MVP update.
Working towards the pre-sale of the ICO, we’re preparing the token factory and the minting of 1.4 billion PLAN tokens. This has now reached the audit stage, where an external party will review the validity, security and inner workings of the smart contract that will be used to mint the tokens. Once passed we will publish more details, including the source code of the smart contract.

We have brought Blocklinker on board to be a technology partner to the PlannerScape project. Blocklinker is a leading blockchain service provider committed to developing innovative prototypes of cryptocurrencies and in-depth research on blockchain technology. Blocklinker’s self-developed technology has engaged most advantages of current blockchain technology, such as DPOS consensus, smart contracts, on-chain multi-currencies and cross-chain transactions.

Introducing PlannerScape

PlannerScape is a project that has been in the works for more than three years, which is why we are so thrilled to finally share it with the world. Powered by AI and blockchain, PlannerScape reduces stress by giving immediate access to people, skills, knowledge, time and resources and makes managing and sharing them as effortless and as stress-free as driving a car with GPS.

We see a demand for a turnkey solution to time and task management. With blockchain-secured reviews, ratings and user profiles as well as all other advantages that blockchain and AI technology offer, PlannerScape boosts productivity, increases credibility, adds transparency and enables instant, risk-free and commission-less outsourcing of anything to anybody at any time; resulting in significant cost savings for everybody as well as increased revenue for service providers.

Our progress is fast and dynamic, and we want to keep you in the loop. Through this newsletter, we’ll share updates about technical developments, events that we host and attend, occasional legal updates and anything else that we think you might want to know.

PlannerScape Platform Limited, being the issuer of PLAN Tokens, was successfully incorporated in Malta on 14 June 2018 with registration number C86812.

We are also pleased to announce that our first operating company, PlannerScape (Hong Kong) Limited, was successfully incorporated in Hong Kong on 11 July 2018 with company number 2720437, for the development and operations of the PlannerScape Platform. More operating companies and offices may be established as the business grows and expands.

An accurate legal structure is extremely important for asset protection, stakeholder protection, token generating event regulation, tax regulation, risk mitigation and other aspects of corporate governance. The jurisdiction we chose to issue our PLAN Tokens is Malta. In July 2018, three bills regulating blockchain-based businesses, cryptocurrencies and initial coin offerings (“ICOs”) in Malta are expected to be enacted into law, namely The Malta Digital Innovation Authority Act (the “MDIA Act”), The Innovative Technology Arrangements and Services Act (the “ITAS Act”) and The Virtual Financial Assets Act (the “VFA Act”). After these three Acts come into force and effect, Malta will become the first jurisdiction in the world to have laws which comprehensively cover the treatment of cryptocurrencies, the launch of ICOs and subsequent treatment of assets offered to investors as well as blockchain/Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) service providers and services which they offer, including the setting up of cryptocurrency exchanges.

The PLAN Tokens are expected to be considered as virtual financial assets as defined by the VFA Act. Once the PLAN Tokens are determined by the competent authority of Malta to constitute virtual financial assets and therefore fall under the governance of the VFA Act, we will inform the public of this information, update our whitepaper accordingly, and undertake to comply with the VFA Act in all respects.

The development of the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) is on schedule with a closed beta scheduled to start on Tuesday the 31 July 2018 with incremental updates every two weeks. The MVP will include a web-based front-end, a mobile App, blockchain components for user reviews and ratings and PLAN token allocation examples.

If you want to become a beta-tester, please let us know via

We successfully launched Plannerscape in Korea on 16 June 2018 in partnership with SmarTree to roughly 200 blockchain enthusiasts. After the event, we stayed in the city for Marvels World Blockchain Summit 2018 and BitForum’s Summer 2018 conference. We look forward to visiting Seoul again, as Korea is one of the most progressive jurisdictions with respect to blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.

On 28 June 2018, we launched PlannerScape in Hong Kong for the first time. Thank you to everyone who came to support and learn about PlannerScape in our home city at the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. We’ll be showcasing the project around the world, so if you missed this event there will be another one soon; we’ll release details on our website and send out email invitations. Stay tuned for further updates.
